Dalyan Mud Bath Turtle Beach Tour starts with pick-ups from your hotels and around an hour journey to the harbour of Dalyan.
Throughout the day you will be informed with our professional guides, answering any questions you may have during the journey and will do their best to give you the best experience possible.

Itinerary

Once we get on the boats, we will take you on a cruise along the Dalyan delta river, going through ancient lycian tombs, fishing villages and arrive at one of the oldest facilities that is still active till this day. The Sultaniye Spa – Mud baths offers you a chance to refresh and renew your skin in its sulfur pool and renew your skin at the mud baths! After enjoying the mud we will take you the restaurant by the docks for a lunch break.
After our lunch break we carry our journey on the boat to visit the world famous Iztuzu beach. The unique beach which mixes the dalyan river and the open sea, will be where we relax for around 90 minutes. Once our journey ends we go back to where we started, but keep your eyes open for a chance to see the rare caretta-caretta turtles! After we return to the docks we will take you back to your hotels with an hour journey.

Information about Dalyan

Known for its beauty, the small town of Dalyan is famous for Iztuzu beach and natural mud baths. Flowing river water on one side and open sea on the other side of the Iztuzu beach makes it one of the most unique beaches in the world to have a swim in. You can have a wander around the boutique city center, take a bike ride from center to the beach, visit the marina during the evening and have a try at the blue crabs at one of the fish restaurants. If you are staying in Fethiye, Marmaris and Kaş area you can visit Dalyan on a daily excursion.

Iztuzu Beach

After our stop at the Turtle Sanctuary, you can have a rest and swim at Iztuzu beach for 1,5 hours. If you are lucky you may catch a sight of one of the largest hard-shelled turtles in the world, the caretta caretta turtles. Despite not having enough evidence, it is theorized that the Turtles have been living in this region for around 40 million years. Keep your cameras at the ready as you never know when they may pop up to say hello!
